TESTIMONIALS

KIRRILEE
If you need some help with your horse or your child's pony/horse, I highly recommend KC Equestrian. Katie broke in my daughter's new horse and has previously helped with my daughter's other pony to help us with problems with ground manners and being ridden.

JENNY
Katie has re-educated my quiet but strong-willed mare into a horse that pays attention to me and respects my personal space. Her ground work is amazing, even on older horses you would think were set in their ways. To round off the schooling, Katie worked with me to explain her methods, to ensure I could continue and complement the training. I now have a mare who no longer drags me off when leading her and respects me as her leader

JODIE
I am an EA dressage rider and very fussy about how my horses are started. Katie has backed more ponies and horses for me than I can count over the last 15 years, she has an incredible ability with horses and rides them beautifully forward allowing them to find their own balance and rhythm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katie to start your precious youngster for any chosen discipline. Love your work Katie!!

aboutME
My name is Katie and I have been passionate about horses from a young age. I competed in games and interschool days growing up, enjoyed pony club, trail riding and mustering cattle on horseback. As I got older my focus turned to eventing and dressage, and I started breaking and training my own young horses.
I currently have four of my own horses, two of which I ride consistently, one retired and one out on lease. I'm involved with para-equestrian through Equine Pathways Australia and my mare is currently ridden by a para dressage rider.
I found a passion for breaking and training youngsters and helping others work through behavioural difficulties with their horses, which is where KC Equestrian was born!
